The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is powered by the NVIDIA Ampere architecture that delivers an increase in performance and fidelity using ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS performance-boosting AI, NVIDIA Reflex latency-reduction, NVIDIA Broadcast streaming features and more VRAM.

For creators, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti features 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM for creative applications. This means faster performance in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, OBS, as well as 3D rendering applications.

The RTX 3080 Ti is 2 times faster in traditional rasterization and much faster with ray tracing than the GTX 1080 Ti. The RTX 3070 Ti delivers 1.5 times more performance over the RTX 2070 SUPER and twice the FPS over the GTX 1070 Ti.

There's also improvement in AI-assisted features. Both GPUs have the AI Tensor Cores that handle NVIDIA DLSS. NVIDIA DLSS boosts frame rates while maintaining graphical fidelity. This also helps in better FPS in ray tracing settings. In addition, NVIDIA Reflex technology also reduces input lag that is a key thing for competitive multiplayer games such as Apex Legends, COD: Black Ops Cold War, COD: Warzone, Fortnite, Overwatch, League of Legends, DOTA 2, and more.
