This continuous success is thanks to its competitively priced TECNO and Infinix models, which resonated strongly in the country's price-sensitive markets.
In the Philippines, the entire TRANSSION group (TECNO, Infinix, itel) captured 35 percent of the market share.
However, Sheng Win Chow, Senior Analyst at Omdia, noted that increasing memory and storage expenses may hinder the company's ability to sustain its aggressive pricing strategy and could put its volume leadership at risk.
At number 2 is Xiaomi with 13 percent of the pie, statistically tied with Samsung with the same 13 percent. OPPO is at number 4 with 11 percent, while vivo is only at 9 percent.
The rest of the 19 percent remaining represents other mobile players like HUAWEI, HONOR, Nothing, Apple, and more.
