OPPO to soon launch new AIoT products—to include notebooks, tablets, and more

A Weibo post teased that OPPO is about to launch a myriad of IoT devices soon. The devices vary from notebooks to even new smart scooters.

What's included in the OPPO IoT device teasers?

The IoT teasers with labels

A Weibo post from Digital Chat Station posted an enhanced photo that named most of the IoT devices teased by OPPO. Let's check what we can deduce since these are labeled in Chinese. Here are the most notable first. We saw what seems like a slim and light laptop. It could be either a 13-inch or 15.6-inch notebook but we can't be certain yet.

Next to it seems to be an OPPO tablet. Tabel is making rounds again in the mobile market as more industries see the effectiveness of remote work. Again, we can't see much in just a photo. We can only speculate if this is a premium one or a midrange, more budget-friendly tablet. Seen also in the photo are two smartwatches.

There's also a VR headset. A new player in the VR market in OPPO will be a welcome one. However, we do not know if this is a VR headset to accompany a mobile device or a full VR headset for PCs. To round out this teaser, we see a stand fan, air purifiers, a sweeping robot, an electric toothbrush, a suitcase, a hoverboard-like balance scooter, smart speakers, wireless over-the-ear headphones, and a power bank.

The launch date was not included in the teaser though. We will have to wait for more information about that.
