116 is a pretty strong score for a mid-range smartphone making it tied with the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, Samsung Galaxy S21+, and Huawei P30 Pro at DxOMark's ranking. It is even higher than the vanilla OnePlus 9 with 115 points.

DxOMark notes that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is a noticeable step ahead of its predecessor OnePlus Nord 2 with 108 points. It is also the new number 1 in DxOMark's Advanced segment (USD 200 to USD 399).

DxO added that it delivers excellent exposure results that we don’t usually see at this price level and the autofocus system is one of the most stable we have tested to date for the Photo category. Its Zoom is not the best in the category, but it is the leader for ultra-wide. For Video, it matches the likes of the iPhone SE (2020) at the top of the segment ranking.

DxO shared that the device is an excellent choice overall for anyone looking for an excellent image and video quality that does not break the bank.

OnePlus achieved this feat using a large 1/1.56-inch 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX766 wide-angle with OIS as the primary camera, 8MP f/2.25 119-degree ultra-wide-angle with EIS, and a 2MP f/2.5 mono.

DxOMark has yet to reveal its Selfie rating though.

In the Philippines, the OnePlus Nord 2 is available at Digital Walker stores with a PHP 21,990 starting price.
