Xiaomi Pad 5 with WQXGA display, SD860 SoC, and 4x speakers now official in PH!

Xiaomi on schedule today launched its first tablet in years in the Philippines—the Pad 5.

Xiaomi Pad 5 is a mid-range tablet boasting a metal-clad body, glass-like back, large enough and crisp display with a high refresh rate, powerful speakers, and stylus support.

In particular, the tablet is packed with an 11-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and WQXGA (WQHD+) 2560 x 1600 resolution. Xiaomi said that it has more than 1 billion colors, supports DCI-P3, and comes with Dolby Vision, and True Display tech. The company added that it also has a built-in low blue light hardware and blue light reduction software tech.

Inside, it is powered by Qualcomm's 2.96GHz 7nm Snapdragon 860 octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It goes with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and a large 8,720mAh battery with USB-C 22.5W fast charging technology.

The tablet is also equipped with a 13MP + dual-tone LED flash, 8MP front camera for video calls, large 20 x 16 mm 4x speakers, Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Xiaomi Smart Pen support.

Of course, it has WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. This also runs with Android 11 OS with the MIUI for Pad 12.5 skin.
