Xiaomi Redmi 9i Sport, 9A Sport with P2i coating and Redmi 9 Activ with more RAM now official

Xiaomi just launched three new smartphones in India, the Redmi 9i Sport, Redmi 9A Sport, and Redmi 9 Activ.

New Redmi 9 series lineup!

First off, the Redmi 9i Sport. It features a P2i coating making it splash-proof as well as a 6.53-inch HD+ display in front. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It sports a single 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. 

The Xiaomi Redmi 9i Sport runs on MIUI 12 and has the following connectivity options: VoWiFi, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a micro-USB port for charging. It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.

On the other hand, the Redmi 9A Sport also features the P2i coating. It also sports a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC with 3GB RAM. 

For photos and video, the Redmi 9A features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. It packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A Sport runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. It supports AI face unlock and has a 3.5mm audio jack and micro-USD port for charging.

Alongside these two, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi 9 Activ. It packs a new 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and multiple color options of Coral Green, Carbon Black, and Metallic Purple.

It sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen. Inside it has MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. 

The Xiaomi Redmi 9 Activ features a 5MP selfie camera and a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 2MP. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on the top.
