After the China launch, the vivo X300 series goes global. In this article, we will tackle the base X300 model.

A much-improved ZEISS photography

The vivo X300 retains the camera-centric design with a large circular bump on the rear. It is available in Phantom Black and Halo Pink colorways. The phone also carries dual IP ratings—IP68/69 for dust and water resistance.

In front, it features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO BOE Q10+ OLED display, which has 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezels and 1-120Hz refresh rate.

It also has a full-brightness DC dimming alongside 2160Hz PWM dimming, with a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a minimum of 1 nit.

Inside, it uses the current MediaTek flagship 4.21GHz 3nm Dimensity 9500 8-core SoC with ARM G1-Ultra GPU.

For memory and storage, the configuration includes up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The battery capacity differs by region; the European version of the vivo X300 comes with a 5360mAh battery, while the model in China features a 6040mAh battery. Both support 90W ultra-fast flash charging, 40W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

The camera system on the X300 includes a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPB sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT602 periscope telephoto camera with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and telemacro capabilities. The cameras feature ZEISS optics, a Zeiss T* coating, and a V3+ imaging chip.

 A 50MP front-facing camera is also included for selfies and video calls.

Other features consist of an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio, and USB-C audio.

For connectivity, the phones support WiFi 7, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, multiple satellite positioning systems, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1, and NFC.

The operating system is Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

vivo X300 16GB/512GB - EUR 1,049 (around PHP 71.2K)

The device is currently available in Austria, Spain, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy. No word yet for a PH release at the moment.
