VAIO SX12 and SX14 with 11th Gen Intel core processors to launch in Japan

VAIO just announced two new laptops for its SX series in Japan. Both will feature 11th Gen Intel Core processors and have Windows 11 out of the box.

VAIO SX12 and SX14 are laptops that, as the name implies, have 12.5-inch and 14-inch FHD screens. It has the classic and compact VAIO look with iconic branding on the cover. It has low-profile keys and a moderately sized touchpad. At the highest end of the spectrum, both the VAIO SX12 and SX14 will feature a 5.0GHz 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1195G7 quad-core processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics at 1.40GHz, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage.

Both the SX12 and SX14 will have up to 10 different configuration variants available. The lower-end models will feature the 4.5GHz 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1155G7 quad-core processors, Intel Iris Xe graphics at 1.35GHz, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

Japan price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

VAIO SX12 (15) - JPY 199,800 (around PHP 89K)
VAIO SX14 - starts at JPY 229,800 (around PHP 103K)
VAIO SX12 (i7) - JPY 269,800 (around PHP 118K)

It is now only currently available in Japan. It is also coming to the USA on October 27 but only 10th Gen Intel variants are currently listed on the website. Local pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
