Beyond the Box just announced that the new iPad Mini is now available in their stores. It will have two variants with prices starting at PHP 31,990.

As a recap, the new iPad Mini features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits peak brightness, True Tone, P3 Wide color gamut, and anti-reflective coating. It also has slimmer bezels all around achieved moving the Touch ID sensor to the top button of the iPad Mini.

Inside, it features Apple's powerful 5nm A15 Bionic chip. This is touted to pack 80 percent more performance than its predecessor. It has 6 total cores, a better and faster Neural Engine, and a 5-core GPU. It also features 4GB RAM and up to 256GB in storage.

It has a 19Whr battery that promises to supply around 10 hours of usage with WiFi on and 9 hours using mobile data. It also has a 12MP f/1.8 sensor at the back with an LED flash. It also has a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor for selfies. It also has stereo speakers, WiFi 6, 5G, and USB-C connectivity. It also supports the Apple Pencil. It runs Apple's iPadOS 15 too.

Price and availability

These are both available via cash and installment basis. You can get the 64GB variant for PHP 1,332/month for 24 months with 0 percent monthly interest while the 256GB variant is available for PHP 1,702/month. These are installment schemes are available via HSBC, Metrobank, and BPI. There are also 3, 6, and 12-month schemes available with these three aforementioned banks as well as BDO, Unionbank, Eastwest, and PNB.

Beyond the Box states that stock availability per store will depend on the delivery schedule. This also goes for available color and capacity options.
