Converge, Globe, PLDT, SKY tops Netflix ISP Index for Oct 2021

For the first time, Converge, Globe, PLDT, and SKY gained the top spot in Netflix ISP Index for October 2021.

4 ISP's are tied in the top spot for the first time!

Globe, SKY, and Converge were also previously on the top spot last month. But this time PLDT joins the group as well in the no.1 spot in Netflix Index. All four of them gained a score of 3.4 followed by Royale Cable in the number 2 spot and got a 3.0 rating.

Seeing four of them tied at the highest-ranking has never happened before so it's a nice milestone achieved. As for Globe, this marks their 8th time being on the lead and consistent in Netflix rankings.

To recall, Netflix calculates an ISP's performance in primetime streaming sessions based on the maximum bitrate set by combining resolution, streaming device, and encode recipe. The higher the quality of a network, the closer a session will be to reaching this maximum bitrate.
