iQOO recently unveiled the U5 in China. It's a mid-range smartphone with a new Qualcomm chip and more.
The device is boasting a near-flat glass-like back design in 3 different colors at the back, a rectangular camera hump housing a pair of cameras + LED flash, and a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a waterdrop-like notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is equipped with Qualcomm's new 6nm Snapdragon 695 octa-core 5G chip with Adreno 619 GPU. It is paired with 4GB/6B/8GB RAM, Memory Fusion 2.0 virtual RAM up to 4GB, 128GB expandable storage via microSD slot up to 256GB, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.
Keeping the performance in check is a five-layer liquid cooling system.
For the back cameras, you will find a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro shooter. iQOO said it has the Night mode for the back and front cameras, but this feature is not available for the base 4GB RAM version.
Anyway, the device from the vivo sub-brand also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Hi-Res Audio, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band WiFi, 5G, and Android OS.
