On December 28, the Xiaomi 12 series will become official. So far, reports point to at least three variants of the smartphone. In Xiaomi executive's Weibo video posts, the base Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro were seen. There's also a rumor about a Xiaomi 12 Ultra but this is just that, a rumor.
Not much about the specs of the Xiaomi 12 series has been confirmed yet. However, the biggest confirmation is the inclusion of the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the series. It is not yet confirmed if all of the devices in the series will have the same processor though. It is safe to assume that it will be confirmed for the Pro variant at the very least.
As the launch is just a week away, we can expect more information and key specs to be slowly revealed or leaked leading up to the December 28th date.
