Meet the Liyab Esports Wild Rift team

Liyab Esports is ready for the 2022 LoL: Wild Rift season

The Liyab Esports Wild Rift team will represent the organization in official Riot Games tournaments that are set to begin next month. The new members underwent private and competitive scrimmages as tryouts. The team members were only chosen after a three-week, invite-only selection process. Both Wild Rift and League of Legends PC players were used as drafting pools for the org.

The LoL Wild Rift Team for Liyab Esports now consists of five former members of the PC team that represented the franchise in the 2021 Pacific Championship Series.

The players are:

Jay "Speltz" Tabarangao
Edrian "Doedoii" Brancia
Jhon Mike "Xyliath" Tungol
Ren "Kanji" Motomitsu
Coach Gerald Gianne "Tgee" Gelacio
Gabriel Sebastian "Sho" Umali
Klyde Perfection "Klyde" Abello

Gabriel Sebastian "Sho" Umali and Klyde Perfection "Klyde" Abello, two professional mobile gaming players, have also joined the family. Sho previously played for the Fennel Adversity squad, which won the 2021 LoL: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Championship, while Klyde joins from Oasis Gaming, where he was a member of Team Philippines in Hyperplay 2018, the first League of Legends tournament with full ASEAN presence.
