HP X-Hub to open in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The HP X-Hub is the first experience hub in Southeast Asia. It promises to deliver a seamless online-to-offline (O2O) experiential retail experience for tech fans. The X-Hub will combine the flagship store in Malaysia with an an O2O platform to create a personal and omnichannel commerce journey across 6 SEA countries.

The X-Hub unifies the retail experience across Southeast Asia. It will be connecting 82 online stores scattered across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore, with Thailand and Vietnam to follow in March.

The flagship store was constructed in collaboration with Malaysia's largest tech retailer, Thunder Match Technology Sdn Bhd, while the online experience was supported by regional online commerce partners Shopee and Lazada, with an exclusive launch in February. Online users can interact with HP Live Advisors, a team of dedicated specialists based at the X-Hub, via real-time video calls and chat functions in their preferred local language, as well as watch live streams on the latest HP goods via the HP Virtual Showroom.

Customers in Malaysia's flagship shop are engaged in interactive "Test Drive" stations that simulate customer scenarios and activities while exhibiting HP and partner technology. An interactive multimedia showcase and a virtual showroom underpin both the online and offline experiences to assist consumers to understand HP's technology and service offerings.
