realme GT Neo 2 is now listed in the Philippines, SD870 for an affordable price?

Earlier, we received several tips from our readers claiming that the realme GT Neo 2 is now listed on its official PH website. Upon initial checking, it is nowhere to be found on the website.

A near-flagship offering with an attractive price tag if this listing is correct

But we dug deeper. We changed the link of https://www.realme.com/ph/realme-gt-master-edition to https://www.realme.com/ph/realme-gt-neo-2 and voila, the product page of realme GT Neo 2 showing its specs and possible official price in the Philippines.

NEO Green

Based on the listing, the 12GB/256GB version of the device will be priced at PHP 26,990 which is PHP 2.7K pricier than the CNY 2,999 (around PHP 23.3K out of straight conversion) in China. But, we have to consider that taxes and duties are different in the Philippines.

NEO Blue

To recap, the handset highlights a stylish back design in NEO Green and NEO Blue colorways and a 6.62-inch 2.5D curved E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz variable refresh rate (30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz), 600Hz touch sampling rate, FHD+ resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3, punch-hole for the 16MP selfie cam, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is a fast device featuring Qualcomm's 5G-ready 3.2GHz 7nm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor with Adreno 650 GPU. It is paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage (non-expandable), and a 2x 2500mAh battery to form 5,000mAh in total to support the 65W SuperDart Charge.

According to realme, it has up to 24 hours of video playback and you will only need 36 minutes to fully charge the handset from 0 to 100 percent.

To keep the performance in check, it uses a Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling Plus cooling tech (4129mm2 Stainless Steel VC Heat Sink) that comes with an 18-degrees Celcius peak reduction of core temperature.

For cameras, 64MP f/1.8 w/ PDAF, EIS + 8MP f/2.3 119-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro + LED flash with Street Photography Mode.

The device also has stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, Tactile Engine 2.0 (X-axis linear motor), and Android 11 OS with realme UI 2.0 skin. It even has the GT Mode 2 function for smooth and fast gaming performance according to realme.
