Surprise listing!

Samsung quietly lists the Samsung Galaxy A23 LTE on the Philippines website. In front of the new smartphone is a 6.6-inch PLS TFT LCD with 2408 x 1080 resolution. Inside is an unspecified 2.4GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage and a large 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

It supports both microSD card storage expansion at up to 1TB and Dolby Atmos.

Awesome Black and Awesome Peach

At the back of the new smartphone is a quad-rear camera module with 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 2MP f/2.4 macro and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. While on the notch in front is the 8MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Running the show is Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.  Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, and WiFi.

There is no NFC and no DeX support. The phone measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4 and weighs 195 grams.

It comes in either Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome White and Awesome Peach.

The Samsung website listing reveals that it comes in all four colorways with only one 6GB/128GB memory configuration. 

However, as of March 21, 2022, it is not yet available for purchase nor is there pricing information.
