Build/Design - The OPPO A76 features a sleek-looking design with a curved glass-like back, a curved glass for the screen, and a plastic frame. It also has a rectangular camera island housing the dual-camera setup with an IR sensor and LED flash.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 is made up of a glass front panel, polycarbonate frame, and glasstic rear. It also has a square camera island with a quad-camera setup. It has a dewdrop notch for the selfie though.
There is no mention of IP water and dust resistance or Gorilla Glass protection for both devices.

The OPPO A76 is slightly bigger but overall it is a tie in terms of resolution, refresh rate, and pixel density. But, Samsung Galaxy A22 takes a lead in terms of panel used with its Super AMOLED screen.

Samsung Galaxy A22 has a 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, Mali-G52 MC2 (950MHz) GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh with 15W Fast Charging.
The OPPO A76 features a faster CPU and GPU, faster RAM and storage, and a faster-charging solution. Samsung's Galaxy A22 is still decent but the OPPO A76 is just faster. It is a tie in terms of battery size by the way.

Our thoughts
At the same price point, the OPPO A76 makes a good case for a good budget-friendly smartphone. It has a capable SoC, a bigger screen, and faster charging.
But, Samsung Galaxy A22 is still a come out on top of an important category which is the camera system. It has a slightly better camera setup than the OPPO A76 for the same price.
