According to new reports from blogger @changan, Chinese tech giant Huawei will be launching the HarmonyOS 3.0 sometime in September this year.
Apart from the image showing Huawei's timeline, there are very few details on what to expect from the upcoming upgrade of the HarmonyOS 2.0.
Huawei said that it will continue to innovate around the three core values of system architecture, HyperTerminal, one-time development, and multi-terminal deployment which brings system capabilities, development, and comprehensive upgrades.
The company has also recently released the developer preview of the said upcoming operating system designed to allow developers to prepare and develop apps and more in advance.
To recap, HarmonyOS is the company's very own operating system based on a microkernel design that could work on different devices such as smartphones, wearables, speakers, in-vehicle systems, and many more, among others.
As of the moment, the operating system is said to be available in over 200 million devices globally.
