vivo Pad with 11-inch 120Hz screen, Dolby Vision, and SD870 chip now official!

Along with the two flagship smartphones, the vivo Pad was also announced. It is boasting an 11-inch 120Hz screen. Snapdragon 870 SoC, and 8,040mAh battery.

The vivo Pad has a thin and light design with a thickness of 6.55mm and weighs 489 g.  It has curved corners with a flat back and screen. It also has a camera island at the back with an unspecified camera sensor and a built-in kickstand. It also works with a stylus and a keyboard as well.

For the screen, it is an 11-inch LCD display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For an enhanced multimedia experience, it supports Dolby Vision and the speakers support Dolby Atmos. Surprisingly, a 3D ToF sensor is located adjacent to the front-facing camera. A stylus is included, which can discern between 4,096 different pressure levels.

Inside, it has the 3.2GHz Snapdragon 870 5G octa-core processor, Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and an 8,040mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The USB-C port it has is USB 3.2 Gen1 capable of 5Gbps data transfer speeds for fast storage and external displays up to 4K 60Hz. It also has WiFi 6.

It runs Android 12 with OriginOS HD on top.

The vivo Pad will be in pre-order in China starting today and will start shipping on April 15th. No word yet about local pricing and availability. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
