Acer TravelMate business laptops with Intel and AMD variants now official

Acer announces the TravelMate P4, TravelMate Spin P4, and TravelMate P2

Acer TravelMate P2

The Acer TravelMate P4 can either have a 14-inch or 16-inch screen while the TravelMate Spin P4 only has a 14-inch screen. Both laptops will have a 1920 x 1200 FHD resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The TravelMate Spin P4 is a 2-in-1 laptop that can be spun into the laptop, stand, tent, or tablet modes, and is compatible with an AES 1.0 pen.

These laptops are available with either a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processor or an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO processor.  Intel variants come with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, while AMD models come with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

All variants of the TravelMate P4 and TravelMate P4 Spin are equipped with AI-powered noise reduction microphones, four upward-facing speakers, and built-in DTS Audio for high-quality, distortion-free audio. These environmentally friendly laptops use up to 37 percent PCR plastic and 100 percent recycled packaging materials.

The laptop is MIL-STD-810H certified and features Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI, and Ethernet interfaces. In addition to Wi-Fi 6E, the LTE connection is available as an option.

Meanwhile, the Acer TravelMate P2 features a 180-degree hinge meaning it can be opened to lie flat on the table. Not much has been shared about it but some key features include the 12th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro CPU. The OceanGlass touchpad is constructed of ocean-bound plastic with a UV texture layer, while the chassis is built of PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic.

The Acer TravelMate P series business laptops will start to be available internationally in Q3 2022. Local pricing and availability are not yet confirmed. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
