Razer Blade 15 unveiled with OLED screen and 12th gen Intel CPU

Razer unveiled its latest offering of a gaming laptop called the Blade 15 which comes with powerful internals and an OLED panel.

The notebook's design is similar to its Blade predecessor it is slim and looks neat with a logo of the brand at the center. Opening it up, you will see its 15.6-inch OLED screen with QHD resolution, 1ms response rate, 240Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 400 nits brightness. There's also an option of 4K resolution but the refresh rate is tuned down to 144Hz.

The Blade 15 is equipped with a 10nm 5.0GHz Intel 12th-gen Core i9-12900H processor. It is paired with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD and has an extra M.2 PCIe slot for future upgrades. As for the GPU, it is using the laptop version of NVIDIA RTX 3080ti.

The laptop's cooling feature

Other features mentioned were its improved cooling system, instead of having a heat pipe, it now uses a new ultra-efficient vapor chamber cooling to keep the temperatures in check. The brand also retained the per-key RGB keyboard.

For ports, it has an SD card reader UHS-11, Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, Kensington Lock, power port, USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet port, and 3.5mm audio jack.

The software side runs Windows 11 Home out of the box.

More info should be revealed in the future such as its battery. Its availability will take a while though as you'll have to wait until Q4 2022. There's no news yet if it will come to the Philippines as well so stay tuned.
