BPI to GCash transfers are still FREE!

To recap, many banks in the Philippines last year resumed charging for online transactions. One breath of fresh air is the recent announcement of BPI.

With BPI, you can cash-in to GCash for FREE

According to BPI, you can now cash into GCash for FREE. All you need is to follow the steps below.

How to load your E-Wallets

From BPI

1. Log-in via BPI Mobile.

2. Select "Payments/Load" from the menu.

3. Select “Load E-wallet”.

4. Fill in the details and select an e-wallet.

5. Confirm the details of your transaction, then click on “Confirm”.

6. Enter your Mobile Key to approve, then select “Submit”.

7. You're done!

How to Cash into GCash Wallet

From GCash

Note: Link your BPI account

1. On the GCash app, tap "Cash In." 

2. Under Online Banks, select “BPI” and tap “Enroll Now.” 

3. Enter your BPI Online username and password, and you’re done. 

Cash in using your linked BPI account 

1. On the GCash app, tap "Cash In."

2. Under My Linked Accounts, select "BPI."

3. Enter the amount and select an account. 

4. Enter your One-Time-PIN and you’re done.

This is a big deal as GCash is the current number 1 mobile e-wallet in the country and millions of Filipinos who uses it won't need to pay extra when transferring funds to BPI, unlike other banks with around PHP 10 to PHP 15 charge.
