HTC's Metaverse smartphone announced!

The Desire 22 Pro appears in a premium-looking textured rear cover and is available in Starry Night Black or Wave Gold colorways.

Upfront, it has a display of a 6.6-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and a 20:9 aspect ratio, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Inside, it has a 6nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

The battery is equipped with 4,520mAh and supports 18W fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging. Moreover, the device is also capable of doing reverse wireless charging.

On the camera side, it has a 64MP main sensor followed by 13MP ultrawide snapper and a 5MP for depth shooting. There's also a 32MP sensor for its front-facing cameras.

Other features are side-mounted fingerprint scanner and IP67 water and dust resistance.

Again the main highlight here would be the Viverse compatibility, which enables you to use the phone and an attached HTC VR headset to access virtual content from the Metaverse. Additionally, HTC is including its Viverse Wallet, which enables you to manage digital assets like cryptocurrencies and NFTs right from your phone.

As for the software side, it runs the latest Android 12 OS.
