Lechonk is the newest Pokémon!

Pokémon today announced the newest normal-type Pokémon in its roster called Lechonk.

Based on the Scarlet Violet page, Lechonk is described as,

It may appear fat at first glance, but in reality, the Pokémon's body is mostly muscle built by constantly walking around in search of food.

Lechonk is also said to be a gourmand with an excellent nose to find and eat only the most fragrant wild grasses and richest berries. The result of its dining habits is it has come to radiate an aroma resembling the herbs that bug Pokémon dislike. It is also timid and fainthearted but is also strong.

Type - Normal

Height - 1'8"

Weight - 22.5 lbs

Ability - Aroma Veil/Gluttony

This particular Pokémon caught our attention as it looks like a pig. The name is also obviously derived from the word "Lechon" which is a delicious suckling pig popular in the Philippines, Spain, Portugal, Cuba, and other Spanish-speaking nations.
