Is this the POVA 7 Ultra?


Following the highly capable 7,000mAh budget phone POVA 7 (PHP 6,999 starting price), TECNO Philippines recently teased on social media that the next-generation POVA with sleek design and powerful performance will be available in the Philippines soon.

First teased late in June, TECNO earlier said that the POVA 7 Ultra will be available in the country in Q3 2025.

To recap, this handset features a Starship design with LED lights around its triangular-shaped camera island and geometric patterns. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits of peak brightness as well.

For specs, the device is powered by the 4nm Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor with paired with Mali-G615 GPU MP6, 12GB/16GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with USB-C 70W Ultra Charge, 30W Wireless Charge, and 10W reverse charging.

TECNO also added a 12-layer hyper cooling system to maintain stable performance for hours, even under heavy tasks such as demanding games.

For cameras, it has a 108MP main shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a Dual Flash at the back. In front, it sports a 13MP snapper.

The device also has Dual Speakers, Dolby Atmos, WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs on Android 15 OS.

The handset also has the FreeLink technology for peer-to-peer calls and TECNO's AI suite, which offers AI Writing, AI Studio Tools, and Circle to Search.

This is available in Geek White and Geek Black colorways. It measures 160 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm.
