POCO M5 series to launch on September 5!

POCO announces that its newest M series is arriving on September 5 via an online event in Beijing China.

POCO M5 series is coming!

The launch begins at 8PM in Beijing which is also similar to PH time. The series comprises two smartphones which will be the M5 and M5s.

Judging from POCO's teasers, one of them may likely be powered by the newly launched gaming mid-range chip called the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99. Also based on the rumors surrounding it should be the vanilla M5.

The rest of the rumors suggest it will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 4GB RAM, and two storage options from 64GB up to 128GB, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, side-mounted fingerprint reader, Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin on top.

The M5s, on the other hand, is alleged to come in three color variations: Gray, Blue, and White, and are expected to have the same storage options as the M5.

For now, these details are not yet official so you may take them with a grain of salt. Let's all tune up and wait for the official release on September 5.
