9 new Cryptocurrencies listed!

Founded in 2018, PDAX is a Philippine-based digital asset exchange that seeks to offer Filipinos safe and direct access to the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency. In line with this, the company has developed a Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas regulated exchange that is available both as a web-based platform and a mobile app.

Recently, the company has allowed customers access to nine new tokens that include Binance USD (BUSD), APECoin (APE), Algorand (ALGO), Pax Gold (PAXG), Decentraland (MANA), The Sandbox (SAND), Gala (GALA), Green Satoshi Token (GST), and STEPN (GMT).

These nine tokens were previously only available for PDAX prime clients but are now offered to all mobile users which gives users more options for their growing portfolio.

APECoin (APE) is a governance token for the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection which has attracted celebrities like Madonna, Eminem and Post Malone.

Algorand (ALGO) is the token that powers the Algorand Blockchain-A Layer 1 competitor network to Ethereum. It is designed to offer faster transaction speeds while lessening network congestion. It is capable of 1,000 transactions per second which means it takes more than half a million transactions per day to serve the ever-growing number of decentralized applications hosted on its platform. ALGO is proud to say of its completely sustainable carbon-neutral footprint which may have contributed to its current USD 2 Billion market cap.

Binance USD (BUSD) With a current USD 19 Billion Market cap, BUSD is the third largest stablecoin. Each BUSD token's value is pegged to the US dollar and backed by dollar reserves held in custody by the New York-based fintech company, Paxos. Paxos undergoes regular auditing and compliance checks with the US regulators.

Pax Gold (PAXG) is a stablecoin that is backed by actual Gold reserves instead of paper money. It was developed by Paxos to make trading and investing in gold easier and more accessible than owning actual physical gold. It has a market capitalization of over USD 587 million.

Decentraland (MANA) is the cryptocurrency used in the metaverse world of Decentraland where users can buy and sell digital real estate for real-world value. Decentraland's economy is valued at USD 1.47 Billion market cap.

The Sandbox (SAND) is a Minecraft-like building platform where players can create and develop their own games and NFT items for everyone's use. The big difference with Minecraft is that everything in The Sandbox can be owned for real-world value. This includes the parcels of land and NFTs. It has a market capitalization of USD 1.45 Billion.

Gala (GALA) is a blockchain network that provides video game players with a proactive means to contribute to developing games. This incentivizes game designers and game developers to develop games that players actually want to play. Players benefit in return on their investment through play-to-earn reward mechanisms. It currently has a USD 363 Market capitalization.

Green Satoshi Token (GST) is a reward token in the popular move-to-earn app STEPN where users are paid in exchange for walking, jogging or running with the help of the app's NFT sneakers and your mobile device's GPS locator. GST currently has a market capitalization of USD 18.8 Million.

STEPN (GMT) is the move-to-earn app with its own governance token named GMT or the Green Metaverse Token with a market cap of USD 405 Million. Aside from its governance feature, it also comes with other in-game utilities such as levelling up your NFT sneakers.

Interested parties can trade the new cryptocurrencies with the PDAX mobile app. Users only need to verify their account and have enough balance in their wallet. For as low as PHP 200, you can begin trading in Philippine Peso.

The app is available for download thru the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the HUAWEI App Gallery.
