Y16 is now listed in vivo's PH website, will be endorsed by Maine Mendoza

On its official website, vivo revealed that the Y16 is coming to the Philippines soon. The device will be endorsed by Filipina actress Maine Mendoza.

The highlights

At the back, the handset boasts a 2.5D curved design in Drizzling Gold and Stellar Black colorway with fluorite texture reminiscent of shooting star patterns. The cover is also said to be glass-like that can withstand wear and tear to make it always look new. It is also anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint.

The handset features a 6.51-inch LCD HD+ screen with a notch in front.

Under the hood, it is powered by an unspecified 2.3GH MTK Helio P35 octa-core 4G-capable processor, 4GB RAM, 1GB Extended RAM, 64GB or 128 GB expandable storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with up to 18 hours of online HD video streaming and USB-C "fast" charging.

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 13MP f/2.2 main + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro camera, and a 5MP selfie camera with "Aura Screen Light" and AI Face Beauty.

It also has dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Funtouch OS skin based on the Android 12 operating system. 

The handset measures 163.95 x 75.55 x 8.19 mm and 183 grams.
