PLDT just announced the "MyOwnWifi" add-on line for the Fiber and Fiber Plus plans. It is a solution for those looking for dedicated bandwidth.
Get 2x the bandwidth for as low as PHP 649/month!

PLDT MyOwnWifi looks to solve bandwidth problems at home

PLDT's MyOwnWifi enables lone, high-bandwidth users to take advantage of their modem's maximum speed without worrying about saturating the connection for the rest of the household. Additionally, MyOwnWifi offers you the same speeds for only half the cost of your standard plan.

Subscribers can get the fastest speeds of up to 400Mbps for as little as PHP 649/month on top of any Fiber or Fiber Plus plan for half the monthly service charge. In order to connect more devices, new MyOwnWifi members will also receive a WiFi Mesh device free of charge.

Here is the pricing for my PLDT's MyOwnWifi:

Fiber Plans:
Plan 1299 Base Plan - PHP 649/month (2nd Line) with 25Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 1699 Base Plan - PHP 849/month (2nd Line) with 100Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2099 (Base Plan) - PHP 1,049/month (2nd Line) with 200Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2699 (Base Plan) - PHP 1,349/month (2nd Line) with 400 Mbps dedicated speed for each line

Fiber Plus Plans:
Plan 1899 (Base Plan) - PHP 949/month (2nd Line) with 100Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2399 (Base Plan) - PHP 1,049/month (2nd Line) with 200Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2999 (Base Plan) - PHP 1,349/month (2nd Line) with 400Mbps dedicated speed for each line

After successfully subscribing, customers can instantly enjoy the same speeds as their existing subscription by connecting the MyOwnWifi device to LAN Port 2 of their existing modem. They just need to plug everything in and start using their MyOwnWifi connection.

The add-on will also be added to their current subscription bill, making the payment process simple and easy because customers won't have to worry about numerous bills or different billing periods.
