When you are looking for an item that is only available in foreign countries such as the US or Europe, Amazon may be your first choice to check out. However, every time that you will order from them, you will be greeted with the insanely high cost of shipping. 

But that's not the case now since the e-commerce giant is extending its presence in the country and is slashing whatever shipping cost on "qualifying items"

Here's how to take advantage of it:

• Create an account
• Set Philippine addresss
• Choose payment options
• Start shopping
• Look for qualifying items with free shipping to PH tag
• Review your order to see if you're qualified for the promo
• If it's qualified, you will see FREE Amazon Global pre-selected at check out

There are some things that you need to be aware of though like that your total order must be worth USD 49 or around PHP 2.8K.

Also, always check for qualifying items if they're included or not otherwise you might get charged shipping fees. 

Amazon says there will be no changes to the import fee deposit policy. You may also review the policy in this link. This means that you might have to deal with some import fees and VAT and that the free shipping threshold must be met based on the price and quantity of the eligible items.
