With the new RDNA 3 architecture, the Graphics Compute Die, also known as the GCD, and the Memory Cache Die, sometimes known as the MCD, are the two primary parts of the new GPU die. The MCD is manufactured using the more traditional 6nm technology, whereas the GCD employs the more recent 5nm technique.

Switching to a chipset-based architecture enables AMD to combine and match components for various configurations. Additionally, it permits them to use various manufacturing techniques for every component. The manufacturer can produce these parts more affordably and effectively with the help of the smaller pieces since they have higher yields than a single, huge monolithic die.

The Radeon RX 7900 XTX has 96 RDNA 3 Compute Units, a 2.3GHz game clock, 368-bit 24GB GDDR6 VRAM, 96MB Infinity Cache, and a 355W TDP that requires 2x 8-pin connectors.

On the other hand, the Radeon RX 7900 XT has 84 RDNA 3 Compute Units, a 2.0GHz game clock, 320-bit 20GB GDDR6 VRAM, 80MB Infinity Cache, and a 300W TDP that requires 2x 8-pin connectors.

In comparison to the 6950 XT, the 7900 XTX is said to be up to 1.6x faster for ray tracing at 4K and up to 1.7x quicker for pure rasterization. No data was offered for the 7900 XT or the competition.

International price with direct-to-PHP conversion no taxes and duties yet):
