Finally! After 25 years, Ash Ketchum's dream of becoming the world's greatest Pokémon trainer became true.
Congrats Ash!

Ash is the champ!

Ash competed in the Pokémon World Coronation Series Masters Eight Tournament where several champions from different regions competed with each other. To be the very best, Ash's Pikachu defeated Leon's Charizard, the champion of Pokémon Sword and Shield's Galar region.

Now, the 10-year-old Ash is the strongest of all the Pokémon League Champions (the world championship) in a tournament that also featured Cynthia, Iris, Steven, and Lance. The official Twitter account of Pokémon congratulated Ash on the win.

To recap, Ash first won something HUGE in 2019. But before that, Ash suffered a lot of defeats.

Now that Ash is the "very best," will he fulfill his other goal of "catching them all?"

Let's wait and see. One thing is for sure, this story is inspirational.

What do you guys think?
