Build/Design - The HUAWEI nova 10 features its newly upgraded Star Orbit Craft design that mixes the eye-catching premium design with a shiny back that emulates a starry night. The Star Orbit Ring around the cameras at the back adds an accent to the design s well. In front, it features a punch-hole cutout for the selfie cameras and curved edges for the screen to provide an immersive experience.

The HONOR 70 5G features a near-flagship design and build with a metal frame and curved glass for both the front and back panels. Even with those premium materials it still manages to keep a lightweight feel of just 178 g.

It is virtually a tie in the display department as the specs and technology used are virtually the same.
Specs - The HUAWEI nova 10 features the 2.4GHz 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G octa-core processor, Adreno 642L GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage,
HONOR 70 Pro also has the 2.5GHz 6nm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G octa-core processor with Adreno 642L GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge.
It's pretty obvious that the biggest advantage of the HONOR 70 5G is 5G connectivity. It also has the bigger battery of the two. In addition to that, HONOR 70 5G is running Android 12 out of the box with Google services while the HUAWEI nova 10 does not.

The HONOR 70 5G has a triple-camera setup with 54MP f/1.9 Sony IMX800 sensor + 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide w/ macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera + LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.4 sensor for selfies.
In terms of the rear cameras, the HONOR 70 5G takes the lead with a better camera system overall according to sensor size. It has a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. HUAWEI nova 10 is no slouch with a 50MP RYYB main sensor.
But, HUAWEI nova 10 has a much bigger 60MP selfie sensor with a 100-degree ultra-wide-angle FOV. This is almost twice the size of HONOR 70 5G's 32MP main sensor.

Our thoughts
Based on specs, the HONOR 70 5G offers a better package at PHP 26,990. It has a better camera system overall, 5G connectivity, and a bigger battery.
HUAWEI nova 10 presents a good fight with its 60MP selfie camera and similar specs in the overall view.
But the biggest win for HONOR 70 5G here is that it is running Android 12 with Google services out of the box.
