Even more patents for Mi?

Novus IP owner Mr. Paul Lin, the former 'Head of IP Strategy" at Xiaomi has facilitated and helped Xiaomi, IP Bridge, Orange and Siemens to close a licensing transaction in what FoneArena says is a 'highly efficient manner.'

This strengthens Xiaomi's already incredible portfolio of over 29,000 technology patents that we reported back in December.

Ran Xu, General Manager of Global Business Development and IP Strategy at Xiaomi Group said that they will continue to explore complementary licensing models to the traditional patent pool and bilateral models in order to avoid time-consuming disputes and focus on innovation.

Lysse Brillouet, Vice President Intellectual Property and Licensing at Orange said that this license with Xiaomi is the recognition of Orange's strong innovations that foster an efficient digital transformation thanks the contributions to open standards that lead to wide adoption.

Daisuke Honda, Managing Director and Head of License Business Department No.1 at IP bridge added that IP Bridge has been focusing on promoting technological innovation and cooperation around the world. He then thanked Novus for efficiently closing this deal with Xiaomi and appreciate the sincere cooperation of Orange and Siemens throughout the deal.

What do you guys think?
