Moto G73 5G and G53 5G unveiled with Dimensity 920, SD480 and 120Hz refresh rates!

Motorola released two mid-range smartphones known as the Moto G73 5G and the G53 5G.

Both devices appeared similar to their predecessor bearing simpler rear covers. What changed is they now have a centered punch hole instead of the usual dewdrop notch,

The Moto G73 is obviously the higher version. It features a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

At the helm, it is equipped with a 6nm 2.2GHz MTK Dimensity 930 octa-core processor with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It is paired with a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage while the battery uses a 5,000mAh capacity with USB-C and 30W fast charging.

For cameras, the handset uses 50MP primary shooter and 8MP ultrawide sensor. As for selfies, it is using 16MP snapper.

Meanwhile, the Moto G53 5G comes with a similar display, battery size, and charging speed to the phone above.

However, the processor here is different from the 6nm Snapdragon 480+ octa-core processor w/ Adreno 619 GPU. The are also various memory configurations such as 4GB,6GB, and 8GB RAM choices and 64GB and 128GB storage options.

On the camera side, it still has a 50MP main sensor but is partnered with a lower 2MP macro helper instead and the front-facing camera is 8MP as well.

Other features listed for both are side-mounted fingerprint readers and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For the software, the two devices run My UX based on Android 13.

Moto G53 - starts at EUR 249 (around PHP 14.8K)

Moto G73 - EUR 299 (around PHP 17.8K)

The two Moto smartphones are now available in Europe today while Latin America and Asian markets will follow in the coming weeks. No word yet for PH release as well so stay tuned.
