SEA GAMES 2023: Bren Esports tops Sibol qualifiers for MLBB, Coach Duckey to take the helm!

Bren Esports came atop the Sibol 2023 National team selection for the MLBB title. While their Head Coach secured the helm for the upcoming tournament.

Bren Esports tops Sibol qualifiers!

The SEA GAMES 2023 is 4 months away and will take place in Cambodia in May this year. Sibol, PH's arm for choosing the Esports representatives officially held its qualifiers last weekend (Jan 21-22).

There are 16 teams that participated in the qualifiers comprising M World Champions, MPL, Amateurs, realme Cup, and even teams from Universities.

Bren Esports wins the whole series after beating Minana Esports in the 1st round, AP Esports in round 2, M4 World Champions ECHO PH in Semi-Finals, and GameLab in the Grand Finals.

Despite their win, it's not yet guaranteed for the whole lineup of Bren if they are going to be selected as the country's representatives.

The top 4 

The selection for this time is different as the delegates will be hand-picked among the top 4 teams in the qualifiers. These teams are Bren, GameLab, ONIC PH, and ECHO PH.

Coach Duckey

However, it's going to be the winning team's coach who will take charge of the upcoming SEA GAMES tournament. That's none other than Francis "Coach Duckey" Glindro who has a decorated resume in the industry.

MPL S6 Champion and M2 World Champion are just one of his notable achievements. While he also helped the Indonesian Evos Legends during the M1 World Championship in 2019.

That may likely be enough to secure the 3rd Gold Medal for Sibol.
