Onion currency: Put your "golden" onions into good use at Japan Home Centre

In a social media post, Japan Home Centre said it accepts onions as payment in its Panay Avenue, Quezon City branch.

Do note that this only applies to selected items. One onion is equivalent to one item.

The best thing about this is whatever KIND or SIZE your onion is, it will be accepted.

Every customer has a limit of 3 item purchases only, the discount store said.

Through this one-day promo, customers are not only able to purchase goodies, but also help provide food to those in need.

All collected onions will be used in our community pantry, Japan Home Centre noted.

Japan Home Centre’s Panay Avenue branch is located at 84 Panay Avenue, Quezon City (near Victoria Towers).
