CES 2023 happened last month with various introductions of products, among them is MediaTek who displayed several technologies at the event.

MediaTek drives Key Tech Trends in CES 2023!

According to the firm, their technologies reflected the biggest trend at the event which comprises AI-driven smart homes, connectivity improvements, and new processors for smartphones, laptops, and other devices.

MediaTek introduced the Genio 700 platform made for smart home, retail, and industrial IoT products. They clarified that MediaTek is already found on countless IoT devices such as the June Smart Oven, iRobot, and OLogic Snorble which they showed in the demo room.

Another worth looking at is their WiFi 7 connectivity. MediaTek showcased a full ecosystem of production-ready WiFi 7 devices throughout all product categories and they also mentioned the completion of interoperability testing for Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) on MediaTek Filogic WiFi 7 and WiFi 6E chip. They achieved this in partnership with Federated Wireless.

More the MediaTek Filogic 880 WiFI 7 chip was chosen as the CES 2023 Innovation Awads Honoree in the Embedded Technologies category as a recognition of the company's commitment to developing next-gen connectivity.

Apart from those, Bullitt x MediaTek collab has brought the two-way satellite messaging service or also known as the Bullitt Satellite Connect. According to them, this technology is expected to arrive on the upcoming Motorolla handset with satellite-to-mobile messaging which should provide a brand new way of connecting particularly in remote areas.

The chipmaker also highlighted some devices powered by their latest SoC such as the Lenovo Tab Extreme w/ Dimensity 9000, TCL 40R 5G w/ Dimensity 700 5G, and ASUS Chromebook CM14 with Kompanio 520.

The Taiwan-based firm showed their flagship Dimensity 9200 smartphones in the form of the vivo X90 series and lastly, TECNO mobile proudly presented its Phantom X2 Pro smartphone with Dimensity 9000 as well.
