Duoqin Qin3 Ultra w/ 5.02-inch screen and anti-phone addiction feature announced!

Xiaomi's ecosystem sub-brand Duoqin today announced the Qin3 Ultra. It's a compact smartphone aimed to lessen your mobile phone addiction.

The Duoqin Qin3 Ultra features a boxy body with a flat back in Black, Pink, and Gold colors measuring 126.8 x 61.85 x 8.7 mm, and weighs 118 grams.

In front, it is using a tiny 5.02-inch display with HD+ resolution, and a top-left punch-hole for the 5MP ultra-wide selfie camera.

This makes it one of the most compact and lightweight smartphones today. It is even smaller than the iPhone 13 mini with a 5.45-inch display.

The colorways

Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 6nm MTK Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It also comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 2,500mAh battery with USB-C charging.

At the back, it is using an 8MP main shooter with AF and LED flash.

The device obviously has WiFi and 4G LTE. Douqin also listed that it has Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and runs with the Android 12 operating system.

Size comparison with iPhone 14 Pro

Speaking of OS, it is using a custom OS with its own app store that doesn't have feature games and social media apps. Based on its marketing materials, it could lessen your time on the phone by 2 hours. This device is targeted toward students.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Likely, this device is exclusive to the China market only. But, this shows that they are still capable of making small phones.
