vivo S50 Pro mini first look and key features revealed

The vivo S50 Series is expected to debut sometime in December. But before that, the company revealed what its mini version will look like.

A high-end mini version coming?

The details directly came from vivo's Product Manager, Han Boxiao, who showed the design of the S50 Pro mini. As per the image, it will feature a pill-shaped camera island on the back, making it reminiscent of the HONOR 500 Series and iPhone Air.

It also showed a Purple colorway, while vivo claimed it will have an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance combo.

The device is going to have a 6.31-inch flat panel with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for faster response.

Despite having a "mini" moniker, it will have a MASSIVE 6,500mAh battery and 90W USB-C fast charger + 40W wireless charging support.

Furthermore, the phone is expected to have a UFS 4.1 storage and an X-axis linear motor.

Meanwhile, the upcoming vivo S50 Pro mini will sport triple cameras on the rear with a highlight Sony IMX882 periscope sensor. At the front, it will have a 50MP shooter for selfies or video calls.

Finally, reports suggest the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which indicates it will have strong performance despite having a small size.
