HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 launched with unique design, 11mm drivers, and LDAC Hi-Res audio!

The last announcement from the brand is their 5th edition of the FreeBuds TWS earbuds.

HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 is now official!

The new audio device came in a unique design. It almost resembles a peanut or bean shape if you take a look at the curves. HUAWEI probably did it to add a more ergonomic feel when wearing. It's also an in-ear type but without silicone tips.

Anyway, you can choose three colors from it namely Frost Silver, Ceramic White, and Coral Orange.

It also highlights L2HC and LDAC codecs which means it is capable of producing Hi-Res resolution on its 11mm LCP dual magnetic drivers. Moreover, the earbuds feature Spatial audio enhancement for that 3D-like surround sound.

It supports touch controls and the earbuds can deliver up to 5 hours of listening combined with another 30 hours with its charging case. Powering it will need a USB-C cable via wired or wireless using Qi charging pad.

Lastly, it features an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and Bluetooth 5.2 with a multi-pairing feature.

The device is now available in China. However, the firm hasn't specified yet when it will be available to other markers.
