HUAWEI announces FreeBuds Pro 2 + w/ Devialet sound, AI heart rate, temperature tracking

HUAWEI is not done yet! Following the P60 Series, Mate X3, and others launch yesterday, the company also announced the "plus" version of its capable FreeBuds Pro 2.

An improved FreeBuds Pro with two new sensors!

Basically, it is similar to the FreeBuds Pro 2. But, it now comes in the Yusha White colorway with gold accents and HUAWEI logo print. Moreover, it now has heart rate and temperature tracking.

The key features of the buds

For higher precision, HUAWEI added the industry's first green light dual-type heart rate monitoring on the FreeBuds Pro 2 +.

HUAWEI likely added these new sensors on the left earbud as it weighs 0.2 grams heavier than the right earbud.

The advertised battery also suffered as little as it is now down to up to 5.8 hours without ANC and 3.7 hours with ANC from up to 6.5 hours without ANC and 4 hours with ANC of the regular FreeBuds Pro 2.

Each bud needs 40 minutes to be fully charged. The case could be charged in just 60 minutes via wired charging and 20 minutes via wireless charging.

Of course, these buds have Devialet audio, HWA + Hi-Res Wireless audio certifications, and LDAC lossless audio transmission.
