Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G launches: 120Hz AMOLED, SD685 chip, 48MP cam

Xiaomi today launched the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Series which includes its 4G variant.

The 4G Redmi Note 12 is now official

The new Redmi Note 12 4G arrived in Onyx Gray, Mint Green, or Ice Blue colorways in a boxy unibody design with IP53 splash resistance and a larger 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with 1200 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a top-center notch housing the 13MP f/2.45 selfie camera. This is also the thinnest Note budget phone of the company at 7.85 mm.

The colorways

Compared to the Redmi Note 11 last year, the new device sports slightly improved processor specs. In particular, it is now using the 2.6GHz 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor instead of SD680, Adreno 610 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W charging.

The rest of the specs

The device is also using a 48MP f/1.8 Samsung JN1 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 OV08D ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera to complete a triple-camera setup.

Completing the specs, the handset has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual SIM slots.
