Ahead of the vivo V27 Series PH launch, the company started sharing some of its top features.
One of them is the Aura Light Portrait System, the reason why vivo is dubbing the series as the "#TheAuraPortraitMaster."
According to the brand, the said camera tech is said to offer its fans with a "one-of-a-kind camera feature that will surely upgrade the smartphone into a studio in one's pocket."
Frankly, vivo might have gone a bit overboard with that claim as real studio lighting is quite hard to achieve even if you have studio lights. But based on teasers, this tech acts like a soft light that could help its users take better portrait shots, especially in situations with harsh or little light.
Anyway, according to vivo this innovation called aura light is a built-in ring light that replaces the usual camera flash to make portrait shots clearer and more natural-looking. Allegedly, it also gives a soft light effect usually found in photos done in professional studio setups.
This gives both photos and videos a "studio-standard" lighting which enhances facial features and makes the subject's skin look luminous.
Apart from the Aura Light Portrait System, the V27 Series also has EIS and OIS Hybrid Imaging Stabilization to minimize out-of-angle and shaky videos and a 50MP front camera with upgraded autofocus designed to capture the subject's face with greater speed and accuracy.
Moreover, it has the Photochromic 2.0 technology to give its slim and flat frame an even more impressive paint job.
vivo Philippines has yet to fully disclose its complete set of specs and features, but we expect it to share plenty of similarities with the V27 Series launched in India last week.
Stay tuned for more info.
