Leak: Dinuguan Black and Ube Pixel 7A colors, are they coming to PH?

A leak suggests that Google added some Filipino touch to its Pixel 7A smartphone.

Are Filipino-flavored Pixel phones coming soon in PH?

Pixel phones are quite rare in the Philippines, we've seen recently the Pixel 7 Pro being sold at the Villman store.

But this time, it could be different as the popular leaker known as Paras Guglani or @passionategeekz on Twitter, posted an alleged image of the upcoming colorways for the Pixel 7A smartphone and it includes two of the iconic dishes in the Philippines—Dinuguan Black and Vibrant Ube.

Does this mean something? Is Google giving us a hint that they might come in PH? Allegedly, they specifically named their phone's color based on some of the popular dishes of the country and it's hard to say that it is just a coincidence. But we could be wrong though as this is not official yet.

Apart from those, other colors mentioned are Crispy Kale, Mayo Cream, and Tide Orange.

Anyways, the phone is rumored to feature a 90Hz 6.1-inch FHD+ screen, Google Tensor G2 chip, 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB or 256GB storage, 64MP primary Sony IMX787 + 13MP Sony IMX712 ultrawide shooter and 8MP Sony IMX 355 selfie snapper.

It is also reported that it may arrive with a price tag under USD 500 or around PHP 27.5 if converted directly without tax and duties yet.

Let's all wait for the official debut which will be on May 10,2023 at Google I/O Conference.
