iQOO announced another smartphone and this time it comes with eye-catching high-end internals.

The first phone with Dimensity 9200+!

The main spotlight here will be the flagship chip 4nm 3.35GHz Dimenisty 9200+ octa-core processor with Immortalis-G715 GPU. According to data relayed by iQOO, this chip scored 1,363,206 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The current title holder in AnTuTu which is the ROG 7 Ultimate has a score of 1,330,011.

It is also paired with V1+ self-developed chip to reduce power consumption by 14.2 percent and aid in the phone's photography prowess.

When it comes to the display, the iQOO Neo8 Pro uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

Inside, it has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. While the battery has a 5,000mAh capacity with 120W ultra-fast flash charging.

For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP f/1.88 Sony IMX866V sensor, OIS + 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor + LED flash. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 16MP f/2.45 camera.

Other features mentioned are the 5002mm² large-area VC cooler which is 125 percent larger than its predecessor plus it is accompanied by a 3D graphite, 9 temperature sensors to handle the heat dissipation. While there are also stereo speakers and HiFi audio.

For connectivity, the phone has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS L1 + L5, and NFC.

As for the software, the phone runs Android 13 with Origin OS 3 skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

iQOO Neo8 Pro 16GB/512GB - CNY 3,599 (around PHP 28.4K)

The phone is now available to order while the sale begins on May 31 in China. Similar to other iQOO phones, this one won't reach the Philippines "officially".
