Right now MediaTek is rebranding its existing Dimensity 700,800 and 900 series under the new name Dimensity 6000 or 7000 series. The move is meant to make the chipmaker's portfolio simpler and bring a more transparent naming system for consumers.

As mentioned in the title, the chip is actually a renamed version of the Dimensity 1080. It supports 2520 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, up to 200MP, 4K HDR video, triple HDR-ISP, and MENR.
