LazzieChat elevates shopping experiences on Lazada

Powered by OpenAI ChatGPT technology, LazzieChat is designed to answer users' shopping queries on the Lazada platform. The group said the feature’s introduction hopes to provide an engaging and personalized shopping experience for Lazada customers. 

Howard Wang, Chief Technology Officer, Lazada Group, said this is part of the group’s continuous investment in technology to deliver a seamless online shopping experience to every user. 

Online shopping journeys are becoming more dynamic with the help of technology. We want to bridge the gap between offline and online shopping by providing high-quality experiences that consumers love, and create value for brands and sellers who can tap into new technologies to reach out to a wider audience. We are confident AI will drive new developments in making online shopping and selling a seamless daily activity for everyone, Wang said.

Users who are into consumer goods categories, such as fashion and beauty, can take advantage of LazzieChat. The chatbot also helps partner brands and sellers boost their product visibility, Lazada said. 

It is available in English for Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia markets. 

Lazada said it is targeting to equip LazzieChat with more languages.
