The next Fan Edition smartphone?

The Korean Giant just revealed its next generation of tablets, Watch wearables, and foldables: Z Fold 5, and Z Flip5

Android Authority recently had an opportunity to interview Justin Hume, Vice-President of Mobile for Samsung South Africa. During the interview, the executive said: “There is an FE-sized gap in there, right now,” the executive answered, before laughing. “There is going to be an announcement made. Imminently.” The website says that in other words, the Galaxy S23 FE (or whatever it will be called) is on its way and could be launched relatively soon.

Soon after the report of the interview went live, MySmartPrice reports that the listing for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G went live on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) website. The same listing confirms the moniker 'Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G', the model number SM-S711U and that the device will support 4.4W wireless charging.

The device was also spotted on GeekBench where it was revealed that it comes with either an Exynos 2200 SoC or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Past rumors have claimed that the upcoming smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging out of the box. At the back is the 50MP primary camera.

Take this information with a grain of salt as details may still change before its official announcement.
