TECNO POVA 5 x Free Fire Edition spotted in PH: Helio G99, 120Hz display, 6,000mAh battery, starts at PHP 8,999!
Last month, we reported the announcement of the TECNO POVA 5 and the Free Fire Edition. Now, it looks like the latter is in the Philippines.

TECNO POVA 5 Free Fire is coming soon in PH!
The TECNO POVA 5 Free Edition was spotted by revu PH in one of the popular online shopping platforms in the Philippines and from the store known as "Rull's", a known retailer of TECNO in the country.
However, it looks like the listing has now been deleted as we tried to search on both the Shopee and Lazada pages of Rull's store. Fortunately, revu PH managed to get a screenshot of the prices including the memory configurations of the phone giving us an idea of how much will it be.

To recall both the regular and Free Fire editions are identical in specs. But the special edition gets a unique box inspired by the battle royale game itself including the stickers, characters, and custom wallpaper.

Anyway, the phone boasts a 6.78-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2460 x 1080 resolution, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Inside, it is powered by the 6nm MTK Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB memory, 6,000mAh battery, and charges using USB-C and 45W power brick.
For cameras, it has a 50MP main sensor partnered with an 8MP selfie camera.
TECNO also included a cooling system for the phone. It now features a heat dissipation area of 10,749mm2 which is comprised of a 1399.65mm2 vapor chamber and a 9349.39mm2 graphene heat sink.
Other features noted are the z-axis linear vibration motor and dual speakers with DTS Sound support.
For OS, the phone runs Android 13.
As for availability, the TECNO POVA 5 FREE FIRE will be launched on August 2 in the Philippines as per the brand's Twitter page.
